Newton

Meet Newton, one of "Science" pups and brother to Edison, Einstein, and Galileo. Newton is a sweet and cuddly yet slightly shy guy who inherited his mother's coloring but has much longer legs and no tail, so we think Dad may have been a Miniature Pinscher. He was born in foster care the day his brindle Dachshund Mom was rescued on April 8th.

Newton loves playing with his brothers and is discovering toys. He is working on leash manners and house training and is progressing perfectly for his age - puppies at this age can't hold it for very long and need lots of repetition, praise, and frequent potty breaks. He is crate trained - but prefers to sleep with foster mom, and sleeps through the night!

Newton is looking for a home with another dog and someone home most of the day to continue his house training.

~Puppies under 6 months need supervised outside time to relieve themselves every few hours, so work-from-home or stay-at-home situations are required, or arrangements for the puppy for full-time working families.~
