Dog's Info...

  • Lola is a young Belgian Shepherd mix with Lab.
  • She is 9 months old
  • She was recently spayed
  • We have poof of all vaccines up to date

Lola was recently rescued in Nuevo Laredo, Mex. by my father when she was 7 months old.

He found her neglected and in need of a loving home. Unfortunately, my father was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer, and he is unable to take care of her.

We welcomed him and Lola into our home. We have tried to make it possible to keep Lola because she has proven to be a wonderful loyal and smart dog; however, my daughters have four pet rabbits, and it has been a challenge to keep her calm when she sees them.

She is only getting stronger and wiser every day and we have decided that we cannot risk our pet rabbits.

Lola is full of energy, and she loves to run at full speed in our backyard, explore, and chase squirrels. She learns quickly and knows a few tricks and commands I have taught her myself. I am very impressed at how intelligent she is and how much she wats to please us.  She is very playful and needs lots of exercise.

We also have a 12yr old dog and he is a Shih poo. Lola tries hard to get his attention. She has proven to be playful and kind to other dogs.

Lola is a strong big puppy, and she can get very excited and energetic at times. She still needs more training.  She sometimes uses her mouth to show affection called “play mouthing” and she still jumps on people. I am teaching her, and she responds well when I discourage her from jumping on me.

She has shown to be kind and sweet with children, but I recommend an adult should always be present to supervise and teach Lola how to properly behave with people in case she gets in a playful mood.

She needs someone who can give her plenty of time, patience, and love. She is a protective loyal dog that will love you back and take care of you forever.

She is young and eager to learn! I only have good things to say about Lola and we hope she finds a wonderful family that will make her happy and love her forever.
