Meet Mia: This gorgeous "fun-sized" 8-month-old Lab mix girl was found cold and wet on the side of the road in the month of December. She blossomed in her foster home and is great with other dogs and children. Mia is kennel trained, potty trained to go outside, and a great learner with her house manners. She has earned her free roaming rights when we are home. When no one is home, she is in her kennel.
She is learning to walk on a leash. She loves to play fetch in the back yard with little and big humans and enjoys exploring outside. Because she is still a pup she can be high energy at times, but nothing that a good walk or a game of fetch wont remedy. She loves to play but is also gentle when she needs to be. She loves curling up on the couch with her humans and loves belly rubs. She has learned basic commands such as sit, stay, come and outside.
Mia is looking for an active, cat-free home that will give her the exercise she needs, the training she requires and the attention she craves. This pup is eager to learn and loves to be rewarded with a treat when she does a good job and would be a good fit for most families, with or without other dogs, with or without kids.
